Ben Woodcock is a multidisciplinary designer, illustrator, gallery artist, educator and pupper dad hailing from Portland, Oregon. When he's not in the classroom or serving his clients, he is on the Trail Blazers like glue, "improving the house" or chilling with friends and family. He also enjoys billiards, woodworking, street hoops, painting, spittin' Spanish, grilling, competitive lawn games, catching a show, craft brews and coffee. And SNEAKERS!
His work is motivated by the forging of unexpected relationships between content and context. With allegiances to place, sport, pop culture, language, headlines, nostalgic objects and letterforms, his work constructs an assembly that is celebratory and jovial in nature [with a dash of satire and cynicism at times], but also supremely thoughtful in its intent.
Ben is currently an adjunct instructor within Portland State University's Graphic Design program and is available for freelance design and illustration opportunities.
